On February 14, we’re hosting a free Open House at Pa-Kua OC - a guided, in-person experience where you can explore multiple aspects of our system and see how they work together to build confidence, coordination, focus, and inner calm.
Whether you come solo, with a partner, or as a family, this Open House is designed to meet you where you are.

At the Open House, you’ll get a hands-on, beginner-friendly introduction to the most popular Pa-Kua programmes. You’ll meet the instructors, learn simple foundations, and enjoy a relaxed, family-focused experience.
Take part in everything or just observe. Completely beginner-friendly.

Event Schedule:
⏰ 8:30 AM - Meet & Greet: Connect with instructors, tour the school, and get settled.
🧘 9:00 AM - Yoga, Tai Chi & Pa-Kua Chi: Start the day with breath, balance, and mindful movement.
🥋 10:00 AM - Martial Arts: Build confidence, coordination, and practical self-defense skills.
🤸♀️ 11:00 AM - Acrobatics: Develop agility, strength, and body control in a fun, safe format.
🏹 12:00 PM - Chinese Archery: Improve focus, posture, and calm through traditional archery practice.
⚔️ 1:00 PM - Edged Weapons: Explore precision, awareness, and respect through structured weapons training.

Not at all. Our Open House is designed specifically for people who have never tried martial arts before. Everything you’ll do is simple, guided, and taught step-by-step. Many of our students started feeling nervous or unsure, and within minutes they realised how welcoming and supportive the environment is. You can join in at your own pace or watch first – whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Wear anything comfortable that you can move in – gym clothes, PE kit, or a T‑shirt and shorts/leggings are perfect. No special equipment or uniform is needed. Bare feet are fine for most activities, and trainers can be worn for others. Bring a bottle of water and, if it’s for a child, anything that helps them feel relaxed and ready to try something new.
Absolutely. Parents are encouraged to watch, take photos, and get a feel for how our classes run. You’re also welcome to step onto the mat and participate in some of the activities if you’d like to try it for yourself. Many parents find that seeing the structure, coaching style, and atmosphere in person helps them feel confident that their child is in a safe and positive environment.
Not at all. The Open House is a completely pressure-free opportunity to experience what Pa‑Kua OC is all about. If you or your child enjoy the session, we’ll show you the different programmes available and how to get started. If you’re not ready yet, that’s perfectly fine too – you’ll still leave with new skills, a great experience, and your free digital guide.
